about why Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame was a flop.

Opinions?

Just a few theories and it’s been awhile since we’ve seen it in full but:

  • Hate to say this, but the protagonist isn’t attractive. Parents are more…

Define “flop.” It made well over 3 times its budget at the box office alone, and made more money than Hercules and Mulan (the two Disney movies after) and slightly less than Pocahontas (the one before.) Actually, it made more money than The Emperor’s New Groove, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Brother Bear, Home on the Range, andThe Princess and the Frog.

In fact, it’s Disney’s second (to Tarzan) highest-earning 2D animated movie since Pocahontas…

AND AND AND it’s one of my favorites.  So there.
